Long awaited update!!! :D

Sooorrryyyyyyy people for not updating for sooooooo long now! :s

I know.. I know.. It's been a tad bit tooo long, aye? hahaha.. many months have come and past! We have entered a whole new year and summer's gone!!!! Uni's just starting to get busy right now.. friends are all back here at Melbourne which is fantastic! :D

To be very honest, I sort of gave up on this blog last year. Hahaha.. I didn't see much point of blogging anymore. Maybe life just got a bit too boring altogether. :P

Many of you may wonder, why am I blogging again?
Well, the answer, because blogging is my method of sharing with all of you. And today, I have something to share. :)

Often, I ponder, what makes one a friend to the next person?
The dictionary definition of the word, friend says this:

friend |frend|
noun
a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations.

My definition:

friend = a person who cares for you regardless of any situation, one who is there for you in good times and bad. One who shares with you your joy and your sorrows, one who supports and encourages you every inch of the way.

I thought about this today because of a friend. I don't really know this friend very well. But through my hardships last year, this friend has always been there to encourage. I never gave it a second thought all these while, but bumping into him made me realise how blessed I am to have so many that sincerely care about me.

Friend, you do not know how much it meant to me just now, when you told me you knew I could do it. Especially when you said to me, " I am so proud of you". :) Well, dear friend, I am very proud of you too! You have gone very far, and I know and I believe that you too will reach for the stars and achieve your goals for as long as you believe in yourself! :) Thank you, dear friend!

To all my friends, wherever you are, especially the ones who are here with me in Melbourne (you know who you are), thank you so much for everything you have done for me! Thank you for all the memories we share, be it the good ones, or the bad ones! :P We have all partially changed for the better due to the influence of one another. My heart aches at the thought that we are all graduating so soon! Three years are coming to an end so quickly! How I wish I had a remote control like in the movie, Click that allows me to pause time or rewind time to the beggining of the three years all over again! I know that God put each and everyone of you into my life for a reason. And I thank Him and praise Him everyday for each of your presence! You all mean a lot to me! Thank you for everything! :)

Often people forget the role God plays in all of our lives.. We remember him only when we need Him.. We speak to Him when we are in need.. We try to blame Him when things go wrong.. but yet.. why do we often forget and forsake him in happy times? He has always been there and has never left..

To some of my friends, I know you guys feel like you're distant from Him.. but know that He loves you and always will.. :D

Esther, I am so sorry on your grandmother's death. She has gone to a better place.. to be with her Creator.. :D

Reminiscence

Do you remember the when we were kids in kindy.. going to the cultural village together and swimming lessons too?
Do you remember the times in primary school when we would just run around the school with no care in the world?
Do you remember the fights we all used to have in high school when we were prefects, class monitors and club presidents?
Do you remember the times when we would all just sit around and gossip instead of listening to Mr.Lee at Sri Sarjana?
Do you remember all the wonderful times we had at A8-02?
Do you remember our family tree?
Do you remember when someone was sick.. we were all sooo worried and finally came back together as one.. like a family.. like how we have always been?
Do you remember all the birthdays? All the Laughter? All the tears?
Do you remember the times we would all talk about our relationships? the advices we used to give one another.. the good.. the bad.. the support.. the feeling and acknowledgement that we would always be by one another's side always?

Time has gone by so quickly.. in a flash.. 21 years of my life has gone by.. I ask myself.. what have i done? what have i accomplished? Well.. one of the greates joy would be to have all these wonderful people in my life.. I miss you all dearly.. I wish you guys are with me here now.. none the less.. i'll see some of you soon.. the rest.. we shall meet during winter break! :) Hugz!

Summer plans

Summer is coming here in Australia.. I was looking forward to going home for a long long long break.. but now.. plans have changed.. this girl now has to stay here for summer cos she didnt do well for one of her units..

I've had a super stressed and tensed out sem.. Things weren't as smooth sailing as I hope it was.. things changed.. people changed.. but through it all.. life moved on.. this one period I got to see the people who sincerely cared for me here in Australia.. I saw who my frens were.. through it all.. I guess one just learns to grow up.. to mature and take life as it comes. To just pick up the broken pieces and live life to the fullest!! I'm looking at this summer optimistically.. I know it would be a great time.. at the same time it's gonna be lots of hard work.. :) Who knows.. this might very well be one of the best summers in my life, no? ;)

Frens who have left to go home, namely, adeline, jeff, will, jin and arnold.. it's been a great year in Melbourne with u guys around.. u guys have been awesome! Good frens.. and am looking forward to seeing u guys when u guys come back next year.. best of luck through out summer.. and enjoy the hols! Especially with all of your travelling plans! :)

I have exactly SEVEN weeks before I head back to Kuching for the Christmas break.. hehehe.. I'll be home for a month.. then coming back to Melb for the exams.. then will be heading home again for CNY.. hehehe.. peeps.. am looking forward to seeing u guys when i'm home.. hehehe.. hey everyone!!

How's everyone doing??? Hope all's well.. :) exams are all over for me now.. hahahaah.. would be flying off to adelaide this sunday for two weeks.. hehehehe... meeting with cousins and frens.. :) Am currently chilling.. hehehe.. not doing much.. when most peeps are studying their butt off for exmas.. hahahha.. anyways.. am now attending the beautiful women event organised by planet shakers city church.. it's an excellent event.. had a great time tonight.. :) Shall update soon with pics. :)

ANywyas.. my laptop is infected with virus.. sooo cham.. it just had to break down on sunday night when my freaking marketing assignment was due on monday morning.. i wanted to cry!!! but I borrowed alice's laptop and she was here to help.. we worked the night through.. assignment was due at 9.. we finished at 8:15.. haihzzz... thank goodness!!! :s

A very nice.. windy.. rainy day.. :)

Today was a very very good day for me.. :) I had tonnes of fun!!! hehehe.. First.. I was actually suppose to go yum char then shopping with frens in the morning.. but there were last minute changes and we decided not to go yum char.. hehehe.. but then my classmates called.. why??? to ask me whether i wanted to go YUM CHAR with them or not!!! heheheh!!! Had a blast with classmates... hehhe.. we never made any effort previously to go out for meals or gatherings.. and am sure we all had fun... hehehe.. :) Then, went to Southern Cross to meet frens.. hehehe.. did a bit of shopping.. :)

Then, it was the SEA fest.. South East Asian Festival.. hehehe.. organised by the OCF of Caufield Campus.. it was a blast.. it was more like a social event really.. hehehe.. we actually learned how to dance.. ehehehe.. it was fun.. met quite a few nice people.. hehe.. and found out one of kwan chien's secret as well!!! Muahahahahaha!!! :P

All and all, today was a very GOOD day for me.. :)

Hey there u all!! hahaha.. it's some time since i last posted any photos of my life.. :) Nothing much happening here.. assignments are due soon.. work getting hectic.. exams coming up very soon!! Which also means the winter break is coming VERY soon!! But shall not be going home this mid year.. :( So wouldnt be able to meet up with frens who will be back in Malaysia from UK for the summer break!!! Not fair!! I wanna go home too!!! Boohooohooo!!! :(

There will always be those days when one would just wish that they were just at home.. Being a student studying abroad.. I guess this is one feeling we would always experience.. when you look outside and the sun’s gone.. the cloud’s gloomy.. you just wish you were at home.. when you have assignments or exams coming up.. you just wanna be at home.. when it’s the holidays now.. you just wanna be at home.. one would not appreciate their family as much until they leave home and are on their own.. it’s not a fantastic experience.. but hey.. that’s life isn’t it??? Not everything comes easily in life.. The homesickness will always be there.. no matter what.. and personally I think that is a good thing.. it at least shows that although I am abroad I am still very much a home bound girl.. I miss my family.. and am definitely counting down the days till I get to see them end of this year!!!!
